FACE CLAIM; Allen Walker from D.Gray-man. DESCRIPTION; Rodney isn't the tallest boy, but he's not short, either. He has a slender build with lanky muscles. He follows the slender, elegant look of the deer that he is. His hair shines white and at a mid-length cut, normally just let out to set however it wants to slightly gelled into loose spikes. His skin is on the pale side, but he certainly doesn't look ghostly. Just that he might need a few minutes in the sun. His eyes are a silvery-gray color and occasionally take on a bluish look. His average face always has a smile on it, though the size ranges from goofy grin to a small smirk. Over his left eye is a curiously shaped scar that is faded, but transfers over to his deer form. PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION LIKES; THE FLUTE;; Both playing it and hearing, the flute is very relaxing for Rodney and when he's at a lack for words, he finds it easy to portray his emotions with the music. SNOW;; He doesn't mind the cold very much, and he loves to frolic in the snow and toss about snowballs. It makes him happy to see the world coated in a white sheet of snow. SPRING;; Despite his love of the snow and hate of rain, he loves to see all the babies born in spring, hear the birds singing and watching the flowers bloom. BIRDS;; Rodney likes to listen to the birds sing, they inspire his flute music. He likes to watch them fly and run with them as a deer. LAUGHING;; Both making people laugh and laughing himself, he just can't get enough! He hates frowning! MUSIC;; Along with his flute, 99% of the time he's in human form, Rodney has ear buds in his ears listening to music. DISLIKES; MEAT;; Rodney is a vegetarian, since his stomach can't handle meat very well, and he can't even imagine eating a living creature. This, of course, comes from the deer genetics running through him. DOGS;; Naturally this skiddish boy is very weary of carnivores, particularly dogs, since they're EVERYWHERE. LOUD NOISES;; At the sound of loud noises, he often flinches and quickly becomes rather nervous. THE DARK;; Dark places are a big no-no for him. Haunted houses are something he'll never go to, wandering around at night is not something he'd ever do alone. BEING ALONE;; He has a large 'herd instinct' and really hates being alone. He feels insecure and vulnerable. STRENGTHS; CHARMING;; Once he gets over his immense shyness, Rodney can be a very charming young man. MUSICAL ABILITIES;; Along with the flute, Rodney is a very good singer and his musical talents are very good. OBSERVANT;; Rodney is a very observant fellow and is good at spotting details. WEAKNESSES; TERRIBLY JUMPY;; Courage is not one of his virtues. He's more likely to bound off out of the face of danger and just leave you there then he is to fight. EASILY MANIPULATED;; Rodney is extremely gullible and trusts far too easily for his own good. He's often getting himself manipulated and ends up as a scape-goat for others. CLUMSY;; Well, you might not think of a deer as clumsy, but this one is. He's only elegant and regal when he isn't tripping over himself. QUIRKS; Chews on his lip when he's nervous. He has a small bead obsession, he likes to make things out of them. FEARS; Dark places, loud noises, and being alone. GOALS; Live a normal, non-stressful life with a family. PERSONALITY; Rodney is a very happy kid who likes to make new friends and make others happy. Once he gets past his shyness, he can be very charming and sweet. He doesn't talk a whole lot to strangers, but opens up as you get to know him. But poor Rodney is very jumpy. He hardly has any 'fight' instinct and will run from almost anything. His greatest fears are dogs, since they seem to bark at him a lot and chase him and such, dark places since he can't see all that well, being alone since he doesn't have anyone to back him up and loud noises. All four of these combined are sure to give him a huge heart attack. Rodney is very gullible and gets manipulated a lot and in turn doesn't have a whole lot of friends. And to make matters worse, he's very clumsy and tends to be able to navigate the forest roots and underbrush wonderfully, but trips over his own feet all the time. Is this alright?) Rodney was born to the corporation as an experiment and was, obviously, one of the successful ones. Through his youth he became very shy and quiet and practiced his music, bead-work and transformation skills. When the experiments were set free, Rodney was not accepted into any experiment groups as they went their separate ways. He managed to pass off as an orphan and was soon adopted into a family when he was 16. Once he was able to get a job at the library, (he did a few odd jobs as well) he managed to pay for a small apartment in second district where he is now.
