FULL NAME; luca james constantine ALIAS; constantine AGE; twenty two GENDER; male ORIENTATION; homosexual CLASS; genus amicus COMPANION SPECIES; albino rabbit BIRTH DATE; march 1, 2037 GENETICS EYES; red HAIR; white WEIGHT; 145lbs HEIGHT; 6' VOICE; jgl sound-alike FACE CLAIM; axis powers: hetalia - prussia DESCRIPTION; luca has and always will take very good care of himself. though he may be thin and pale, he is healthy. he does not appear to be strong, or have much muscle at all for that matter, but would be able to hold his own if he absolutely needed to. his eyes and hair may give off a cold and unfriendly vibe, but he can't really help it that he was born albino. it happens to be a genetic defect that he shares with his amicus companion, a rabbit. his style rather casual, though he puts a lot of thought into his outward appearance. he tries to dress so that he can make it by without drawing attention to himself. even if he isn't walking around with his companion, his albinism sometimes ends up being stare-worthy enough. he has decided that he might as well keep every other aspect about himself as normal as possible. to some he may just seem to be a handsome and intriguing young man, which is exactly the effect he is going for. PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION LIKES; films, rabbits, music, drawing, men DISLIKES; uncleanliness, violence, really sunny days STRENGTHS; scary red eyes, good memory WEAKNESSES; sunburn, scares easily QUIRKS; fainting, isn't a fan of carnivorous animals FEARS; insects, losing his job, vast amounts of blood GOALS; buy a house, adopt a kid PERSONALITY; luca was born into a different world than most others. he remembers the day to day activities and tests, his teachers and caretakers, he remembers everything about his first life. because luca was nine years old when he was released from the corporation, he has had a lot of time to adapt to freedom. still, growing up in designated shifter foster homes was not particularly beneficial, nor liberating. luca is subjected to a very good memory, and though some people would hate the ability, he's glad that he can retain so much. though never one to quite express a good mood, luca does often show an array of different emotions. he is frustrated with the world around him, and thinks that people make the world out to be more hellish than it truly is. he would propose ideas to help make things easier, but he'd rather just ignore the ignorant and go on brooding by himself. luca is reserved in a shy sort of way, preferring to keep things business-like if he needs to interact with strangers, but on the other hand, he can be rather bold around those he does know. like a wallflower, he keeps to himself as often as possible. luca wouldn't admit it himself, but he has often been referred to as girly. his foppish way of being diplomatic and overly concerned with his image to others gives off a feminine-like air about him. he's squeamish when it comes to insects, mud, and any gruesome sights; he also has a bit of a fainting problem. his low blood pressure contributes to the issue, and occasionally when frightened or surprised, the young man will topple over in a fainting spell, becoming conscious again within a few minutes. he's gay, but goes about it in a very subtle way. it's never his goal to draw attention to himself. all of these traits make luca into what is almost absolutely the worst guard known to mankind. CHRONOLOGICAL TIMELINE CURRENT RESIDENCE; 17E, crest apartments CURRENT OCCUPATION; shift corps guard HISTORY; luca was one of the shift corporation's test tube experiments. born as a genus amicus, luca's companion animal happened to have more in common with him than other amicus experiments - both he and the rabbit were born with the genetic defect that causes albinism. in the beginning, this subjected him to extra testing, but after the shift geneticists realized that he was hardly anymore different than the other amicus experiments, they lost interest and continued working on their main goal. he was raised like all the others, with 'tender, love, and care' as the shift corps called it. though he never established true bonds to any of his caretakers or teachers, luca still grew to be a highly functioning and intelligent boy. it wasn't until the shift corporation had to release all of their experiments that luca realized there was more outside the walls he'd been confined in his whole life. at the age of nine the boy and his rabbit were put into a special newly founded shifter foster care system. the first home that he was in was wonderful. the man and woman that took him and another amicus boy in were very supportive and understanding. luca was able to form a bond that he'd never experienced before in their household. soon though, he had to move into a new foster home, where everything took a turn for the worst. his second home was hosted by foster parents that were none too understanding of him, or the rest of the children like him - they were in it for the money. luca was abused and mistreated daily, both physically and mentally, but could do nothing about it. though he wished he could go to the last home he was in, he would have settled for being back at the shift corporation in a second. he was there for two years until it stopped, and was shipped off to yet another foster home at the age of twelve. things got a little bit better, but he was emotionally scarred beyond repair. the other families that fostered him until his eighteenth birthday never were quite as great as the first one, nor as bad as the second. in any case, because he was eighteen and his hopes of finding a family at least half as good as the first he experienced were completely gone, he turned to the shift corporation. it was an odd choice, and many of the older shifter children he'd known throughout his life didn't understand it, luca thought that they would be his only option. the corporation, the building and it's employees were the closest thing that he had to 'parents' and a 'family'. after four years of working for them, luca feels as though he has something stable in his life for once. he may be one hell of a failtastic guard, but they understand him there, and might be the only ones who ever will. |
