It is not exclusively her appearance but her overall demeanor that draws a little attention. However, like all unassuming beauties it is an initial reaction and not a lasting one. A quick glance and then the mystique surrounding her seem to vanish and she becomes just another woman in the crowd. The young Korean is small and flighty, quick on her feet and always zipping around doing all manners of tasks put in front of her. She’s rather inconspicuous in spite of her glowing persona, rarely leaving a negative impression on those she meets because she always appears to be happy about something. Doe-eyed and longhaired Sun-Hi is almost constantly fussing with her attire and prefers wearing Asian-esque clothing opposed to other things. The details as to how or what prompted her biological parents into signing a consent form and handing her off to the Shift corporation and while she hates to think the worst of people but she has convinced herself that it was probably for money and hasn’t bothered to question her conclusion or ask others for the details. From the documents she has been allowed to view she discovered that even while in her mothers womb she was a test subject and was exposed to the experimentation of scientists who now had claim over her life. When she was born her partner was conceived alongside her and the only hint that she ever had to her heritage was her name. Why she was given her family name has puzzled her but again, she chose not to. She was monitored in the labs until she was seven at which time they then set her up with a surrogate family whom she has grown to love dearly. The family she was placed with had ties to the corporation, allowing them near complete access to her throughout her life and their constant presence began to wear on the young woman who had become very uncomfortable in her home. She has since moved away from her surrogate family, though remaining in contact with them, and attending the university. Using scholarship and grant money, she has been sustaining herself since she graduated high school. |
