Carmine runs in a bit of a weird crowd, and he often puts people off because a) he's so nosy and b) he works for the local newspaper, but he's an overall friendly guy. Once you can get past his prying nature and get to know him beyond his nervous, jumpy exterior, he's a nice guy that's generous with his friendship. He can often make friends with the strangest people or the people most opposite to him - such as Pierce - so those he's friends with are incredibly varied. If your like reading or coffee shops or old black-and-white film, you're probably liked by him, so. I would definitely want some friendships for Carmine: I think it would be fun.~

Uhh, taken by Pierce.~ They're not lovers yet, but their friendship is developing that direction. Nonetheless, Carmine has had a few relationships, both with men and women (though he prefers men), so some exes coming back might be fun. He doesn't usually part with his exes on bad terms, but who knows, he could have had a really bad relationship some time.
Also, I'm open to Carmine having a fling, maybe just to make Pierce jealous and complicate the relationships involve, so romance isn't totally out of the question. However, it would a fleeting romantic thing, maybe a one-night stand? If you can loosen up his anxiety about sleeping with someone he doesn't know incredibly well, anyway.

I think the people most likely to fall into this category are people in SHIFT or a few genus children. Carmine can hold grudges pretty easily, but he's such a wimp, he doesn't usually act on his dislike, anger, hatred, etc.. Carmine has made it his sort of journalistic goal to get to the bottom of the whole SHIFT corporation and what it's like to be a genus child. Granted, a lot of the trials and stuff were covered much earlier, but Carmine thinks there's more to SHIFT than what meets the eye, as well as some of their released experiments. Besides, SHIFT ought to be shut down: what is a new building doing in this town, of all places? I'm sure SHIFT doesn't want him investigating, as well as some genus children who particularly value their privacy, so enemies might develop from that.

Some colleagues might be fun, but I don't think anybody else has had photographs or articles or something published in the paper. Maybe if they're famous he's written about them? I don't know. If you have any ideas, let me know.~

Kean would love to be friends with him! If Carmi could tolerate him, anyway. Kean would also be ready and willing to have a fling with him and still remain friends afterword, even if he did know Carmi was just trying to make Pierce jealous. Mind you, though, Kean'd still get just a bit jealous of Pierce even if he didn't have any real feelings for Carmine himself, so he'd probably make himself a nuisance at times just to express his want to steal Carmi's attention away. He'd also flirt even after their fling was over, and be thoroughly annoying or aloof whenever Pierce is around.
If Carmi likes cats, though, he should know pretty well how to deal with Kean, since Kean is more cat than he is human and responds more naturally when being treated like one. Scratch him behind the ears and he melts, give him a ball of yarn and he'll be occupied for at least half an hour.
On a side note, OMG SOUBIxKIO!~<333 *insert girlish squeee*

CARMINE & KEAN YOUREMYPOWERMYPLEASUREMYPAIN Carmine would love a cat, since he likes them very much.~ <3 Don't worry, if Carmine can tolerate Pierce and his smoking (which he can), he can tolerate anything Kean throws at him. xD Yes, I can see Carmine becoming friends with him, but beware: Carmine might bug Kean silly for details about being a Medicus for his newspaper articles and journalism research and such. Carmine may not even be aware of his friendship growing into attraction until Kean is flirting away at him. Even though he might be so involved in his journalism that he'll be slightly slow to release where things are going, he'll definitely have a fling. Actually, Carmine himself wouldn't be having a fling just to make Pierce jealous (that's all me, hurr hurr hurr), but it may occur to him in the back of his mind as an added bonus. And I think a jealous cat versus a jealous dog might be a fun little love triangle or some such to play out.~

profileShe's a sweet woman, not quite childlike but withdrawn, an introvert for the most part. Since they both work for a newspaper (for this sake we could just say the same one, yes?) I can easily see the two of them becoming friends, in due time. Vi's a genus child, so there you go, conversation starter. As well, It wouldn't be too hard for them to have a one night stand, if Vi can get past his barriers. I love to make other characters jealous/put mine through emotional issues, lolz

well, i'm guessing that the various thefts that are made by Darius would end up in the newspaper, especially since his getaways are always so flamboyant - he never steals anything if there's no one around to watch. I could even see the boy volunteering for an interview if he was asked to stop for a couple of questions (of course he'd only actually stop if Carmine announced that he was a reporter before he asked for a couple of questions XD)

Even though she's withdrawn and he likes people's personalities all out in the open, I can see him sympathizing with her introvertedness and her sweet nature. Also, Carmine loves cats, so he will be loving on her cat counterpart so much.~ How long has Vivian been working for the newspaper? If it's a while, we can see they're already friends, or if she just started there can be shyness between them. Also, yes, a fling is not out of the question, but Vivian might have to make him comfortable for a one night stand...or just really, really drunk. <3 mwuhaha~ CARMINE & DARIUS YOUREMYPOWERMYPLEASUREMYPAIN omg, yes, I can see this happening. I'm sure Carmine would have written a few articles about Darius not only because he's a thief, but he's also a shifter! woot for wings. (Darius reminds me of Dark Mousy from D.N. She hasn't been working for the newspaper long, but it's not like she'd brand new, haha. Of course she'd bring kitty-dearest to work with her when she could. It wouldn't surprise me if he started a love affair with the cat, lol. I was thinking more than acquaintances, less than friends. Beth of both worlds for a little bit? I would think that she'd be better off morally making him comfortable, but its not like she has a high tolerance for alcohol, either

Ya know, that thought crossed my mind a while ago - that Darius is like Dark. I hadn't planned him that way, it just turned out like that. the biggest difference though would be that Darius steals what he wants for fun, not because it's a dangerous art piece XD there's also the fact that he actually has his own wings rather than a shapeshifting pet HAHA
but yeah, it'd be interesting to play out an interview
