It was probably because even as a young child the Scientists had a soft spot for his development of his gene pool. ALIAS; Mr Kittums, Kitty, Jelly, so many names over his animalistic parts (And his name) its crazy. AGE; Twenty-two GENDER; Male ORIENTATION; Undecided, he hasn't really thought of anything romantic nor sexual. CLASS; Genus Medius SHIFT SPECIES; Melanistic Jaguar BIRTH DATE; September 3rd, 2037 GENETICS EYES; Typically a light blue, they are pronounced and have the guise as being sharp as a dagger. They have the characteristic narrow slit to allow accurate vision even in the dark. HAIR; Jelani's hair is long and unnaturally silken in feel. It's a sharp blue with some natural electric blue highlights and darker blue's here and there. His hair is very long and a few strands trickle down to meet his forehead. WEIGHT; Typically, Jelani because of his muscle is around 165 lbs. Still, his weight is evenly distributed and looks rather lithe then bulky. HEIGHT; Jelani is quite tall and stands about 6'1'' at the very least. VOICE; Jelani has a bit of a deep voice, and a curt growl depending on his mood. Because of his instincts he usually follows with noises reminiscient of his nature and most of these mean no harm. He'll let you know when his growls interpret into 'get out'. FACE CLAIM; Grimmjow Jeagerjaques, Bleach DESCRIPTION; Jelani takes care of himself in a natural manner. Though he is rather built to exert strength and yet favor the art of stealth and pouncing Jelani is a specimen that his creators favored. Jelani puts to the thought of someone that balances animalistic strength and beauty that only the wild can provide. Typically he is considered intriguing and pleasing to the eyes Jelani sports a look of untamed confidence. His body is typically considered to be a balance of muscle and because of his genes he is far more flexible when situations call for flexibility. What are most striking are of course his feline qualities. To some they are pleasantly refreshing and to others...not so much. His ears are lined with dark fur and his hands and digits are coated in luxurious fur. His nails are long and typically this reminds people of his feline genes all the more. His feet aren’t human and are instead cat-like and fur included. The pads are to be expected and to keep his movements quiet. His tail is also notable and swaying behind him for balance. To fit in properly without prowling around naked he was made a pale white suit with a black color. It’s specially made to fit on his body. It’s an interesting article of clothing but people hardly complain...sometimes. Lastly, Jelani has a sort of menacing appearance with sharp teeth in his mouth, and yet for some odd reason kids adore him. PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION LIKES; Meat, Exercise, stalking small animals, (secretly) playing with children. DISLIKES; Being judged, being called nasty names, vegetables, having his tail yanked. STRENGTHS; Brave, Confident, Loyal WEAKNESSES; Bestial, Envious, Naive QUIRKS; Typically quite Naive and cat-like. Due to his nature at times he’s like a large housecat and other times he’s ferocious if you piss him off. FEARS; Spiders, catching off balance, being rejected by people he’s close to. GOALS; To be able to walk around without prying eyes and gasps, have a proper home of his own. PERSONALITY; Jelani is frequently the type of man to look mighty but his personality shows more of a mellow spirit then someone thinking he’s higher up the food chain then you are. Though Jelani has much strength and majesty with his own natural abilities Jelani has an almost endearing uality to him. He’s quite curious of the world but its a shame that he’s limited to certain things just by being who he is. Jelani remains brave and yet kind to those deserving. He would rather show that he isn’t weak or a cursed being to others by taking odd jobs that suit his talents. Jelani may be inwardly bitter and envious towards normal children and adults who obviously have it better then him, but he will always appreciate his own gifts. Whether they are a blessing or a curse he’s learned to live with it. He was told in his childhood that he was a scientific breakthrough and a good example of his own kind and though others might say differently he still thinks he is worthy of putting ones attention to. CHRONOLOGICAL TIMELINE CURRENT RESIDENCE; 3A Civel Apartments CURRENT OCCUPATION; Taken to various jobs, it doesn’t matter at this point. HISTORY;Born to forever be an experiment to science Jelani was born to be a Genus Medius. A halfling that had little importance if he was thrust outside in a world that would easily despise him. Jelani grew to be a young lad that fascinated the scientists around him. He was the group of Medius children that coined the term of them being the beautiful yet misunderstood folk. He held bright features and had a decent mixture of animalistic features. His fur was already growing in and the fact his feet were in no shape or form human only brought more fascination. When he was growing up he frequently did not wish to wear clothing or he bit things because of his extreme teething preparations. His special needs were met however and he was documented and studied throughout his remaining years in that facility. Because of his genes mixed with that of a Jaguar and the rarity of being Melanistic (otherwise excess melanin) this made him a particular favorite. Jelani seemed clueless to whatever affection they displayed but he grew well. Because of his tests he was said to have much strength if forced to exert it upon a person. Plus, his jaw bones were far stronger and can deliver a bite that can shatter bone. They were expecting this however but were pleases nonetheless. When released to the world, little nine year old Jelani had no where to turn to. Still, he made his living doing whatever jobs he could get his hands on even at that age. Still it was heartbreaking seeing other people ridicule him for how he looked. In the beginning it was hard on his poor emotions and he oft cried and did harm to himself. When he got older he accepted it and grew a guarded emotional system to keep others at bay with. Still, his matured primal appearance is for naught when it comes to children...who happily greet him when he’s on his way home or after work. Foster care was all he knew about and he’d come to be a sort of mentor for the new ones coming in. But because of him snapping and such he was never adopted, but the people there almost didn’t want to let him go. The children there loved him and understood him better then ever. They made him an exception and let him stay there as long as he wished. Now, Jelani does old jobs and has taken a small apartment with his saved up money. He still frequently visits. |
