STRENGTHS; Reno has a very complicated physical constitution that has baffled both her and those who aren't used to seeing people consume rotten food and what shouldn't be fit for a human body. However, thanks to the alterations to her DNA her stomach acids are corrosive enough to kill most bacteria, which also makes her immune system exceptional. She is also proficient in a lot of technological gadgets. WEAKNESSES; cherries, Reno loves cherries and will get them any way that she can whether it means shelling out a few bucks for a special little jar or breaking into the super market every few months to get a fix. QUIRKS; Hisses at people . can cry uncontrollably on cue . is addicted to technology . FEARS; a testament that Reno is still a girl in spite of eating moldy bread and living in gutters, is that she is terrified of spiders. Her arachnophobia isn't severe considering a lot of places she sleeps are like spider hang out spots but she still doesn't like them. She is also frightened easily when strong light shines on her, ie. headlights, flashlights, ect. She is also afraid of her parents and them trying to find her for any reason. PERSONALITY; Pessimistic – nothing good ever comes of negative thinking? Well, positive thinking hasn’t done shit for her, at least now if she thinks the worst of people right off the bat she won’t be disappointed. Distrustful and rightfully so, Reno will be the first to think poorly of others and the last to do any serious investment in the friendship or company of those outside her clique. Ornery – if she isn’t angry at somebody then it’s the second coming of Jesus and we salvation is close at hand – however, seeing as this is neither here nor there and that Reno is as contrary as ever then continue to wallow in sin and squalor. Reno is almost always in a perpetual state of angriness that never seems to get resolved or if the girl finds a solution to one issue she will find or borrow another to be irritated about. Reno has to be angry at something to keep herself from a darker road of thinking, one much more self-analytical than she wants to deal with. Mischievous – she doesn’t mean any harm, alright that’s only partially true. Perhaps spiteful is a better word but all her petty little attacks and nonsensical but comical advances are usually not intended to do any real damage except bruise an ego or prove her intelligence over someone else. Capitalist – this woman could sell water to a fish if they had cash and could talk. Leave it to Reno to find crafty little ways to make the best of her time and her money, or whatever of the latter that she has saved around. She might not be a genius or a hugely critical thinker but she’s sharp as new knife and has been discovering ways to get what she wants by thinking outside the box. Miserly – applying to both people and her dough, Reno does not like to share. When she defines something as a belonging, whether it be her cash or her crew, Reno has a strong dislike for anyone trying to muscle in on either. She’s fiercely protective of her money and downright homicidal when it comes to her people, so much so that the word stingy doesn’t cover it. She will pinch her pennies and not spend a cent of her earning for as long as possible, holding out until she feels its that or starve/die – either option is likely to happen, it’s all a matter of when and where. Dependable – nobody ever talks about rats being loyal creature, its usually an attribute most associated to canines but believe it or not, rats are very tight knit themselves – when the need for it arises. Reno may not be the easiest person to trust nor the person who finds trusting others easy, but the instant she does come around that corner it will be occupied until you do something stupid to jeopardize people she cares about. Of course, there are exceptions to even this rule. Certain people who do crazy stupid stunts, who she really, really cares about, won’t find their corners empty. If she’s needed she’s there asking who she needs to shoot. Laconic – dragging anything out is not only a waste of breath but a waste of useful time that could be used making money and if she isn’t making money then something isn’t right. Reno does not mince words; perhaps more hindering then it is helpful depending on the topic. If Reno ever asks if she can be frank, it’s best to say no immediately or feelings might get hurt and tempers may flare because her words are just that tactlessly blunt. Adroit – both physically and mentally, Reno isn’t Einstein but then again, he wasn’t a Shifter so it pans out in a way. The woman is quick on her feet and processing information just as quickly, if not quicker, always trying to invent ways to make things easier for herself and to get the job done more efficiently. She is always open to experimenting and never leaves a route unchecked for possibilities. CHRONOLOGICAL TIMELINE CURRENT RESIDENCE; subway tunnels CURRENT OCCUPATION; Theif/Gang member HISTORY; Reno’s destiny was predetermined from before she was even conceived. Her parents were both scientists; devote supporters and activist for the creation of the SHIFTERS. The deliberate pregnancy certainly became a controversial issue in the future when the courts rendered the program inoperable to its human patients but this didn’t save her from becoming the plaything for the laboratory nerds of the corporation for eleven years. Those critical years of her life were filled with different tortures and because of them the girl called Charlotte, never was given a chance to exist. She became spiteful, rebellious and violent to the point where she needed sedation to transport her from any facility to another. Her winder attitude continued on even after her release. The court justice system rejected her parents petition to keep her in their custody on charges of immoral parenting and removed her from their care, placing her in DSS where she was too much for them to handle. She was deemed unstable and admitted to a child’s psychiatric ward and through them learned a great deal of useful tricks. However she refused to be ‘normal’. Knowing how they saw her despite her human skin, speech and traits she never felt like the typical adolescent growing up and when she was seventeen she ran away from her home and has been living on the streets since then. During that time she met Darius and joined his gang.
