The scientist who created Jessie was a peculiar person who sought to make a subject that stood out from the rest. Needless to say, this not only begged the injection of animal DNA, but also bending of other genetic codes. This scientist versed him or herself in genetics, all right: they induced such strange aesthetic changes in Jessie at odds with the Ocelot's camouflaged pelt. As part of belonging to Medius, with certain traits inherited naturally from the Ocelot, Jessie sports a long, thin tail and a pair of large ears. His thick, long hair echoes the Ocelot's fur. On the other hand, the turquoise definitely is credited from his creator: the pigment not only occurs naturally in his hair, but also in his ears and tail.
