The teen has very gentle contours, one that has yet to fill out and retains a very babyish appeal. Inheriting the dark hair from his mother as well as her fair complexion, Julius despite looking and acting no differently from others, is Albino. The degree of his albinism is small, his tolerance for light is higher than most would expect but he does suffer from a weaker immune system and can be sluggish. His right eye is the only give away to his genetic defect and he covers the discolored eye with an eye patch. PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION LIKES; Being in a position of power: Who doesn’t enjoy being seated upon a throne and watch all those beneath him scurry like rats in a maze? Due to his father’s employment and financial security, Julius has no reason not to enjoy his rich youth while he has it. Abusing his authority: Because of the power he believes he wields and the status that his family owns, it is fair to say that the inexperienced often fall prey to their own assumed greatness. Manipulating people around him: When you rule the world the masses are your playthings and the entertainment is proving endless. People, whether they be human or Shifters, have always been fascinating and useful pawns and when money is your ally and status is your right, fooling and making use of every living tool is a good way to kill time. Demeaning & demoralizing others: What could possibly be more fun than kicking a man – or woman, when they’re down? Kicking them twice? Making sure smarmy little upstarts stay below ground level is a priority that Julius thoroughly enjoys. DISLIKES; Having his flaws pointed out to him: Nobody enjoys having someone single out flaws and imperfections whether it be in your work or in you personally. Julius is the very same and because of his insecure nature perhaps more so. He does not take criticism well, constructive or otherwise. Being reprimanded: What child do you know likes getting a slap on the wrist? Julius is still, despite many misgivings, a child and really doesn’t like to be told no to anything. Being punished for his deeds is something he ardently avoids thus having it so the boy must be crafty and discreet. When he cannot remove obstructions: Having always had money as a bargaining chip Julius wholeheartedly believes that he can control that which is around him. So it stands to reason he becomes very annoyed when he cannot buy someone’s loyalty or his or her submission at the very least. People touching what he believes is his: Hands off the merchandise because Julius won’t be pleased if he finds anyone meddling with his property. This extends of course to people under his influence or that he cares for in his own roundabout way. STRENGTHS; Surprisingly analytical for his age: With his ardent desire to be resident overlord, Julius has single-handedly become a force to be reckoned with for his ability to dissect a situation. Not only that but his strong business sense has played a hand in his talent for evaluating his disposition and see what he can benefit from. Ability to assume a specific role: Everybody expects something different from every individual and this cannot be truer for Julius. To his father he must be a scholarly and accomplished youth, to others he can get away with showing a charming and dependant side. In essences he can fall into a function or a role depending on his situation and whom he is dealing with. Money: True it is neither a personal strength nor a guaranteed permanent tool for him to utilize but until his credit card has reached max he can and will misuse the green. WEAKNESSES; Lacks fundamental understanding of human relations: Despite being very intelligent and accomplished for his age, no one is perfect or can strive to be so and Julius is not the exception. He wholeheartedly believes that he knows what goes through the mind of those around him and that he can buy anything from them when he wants it. Age: People say to value your youth while you have it but for Julius he sees his age as a hindrance not an asset. While he can get away with certain deeds because of how old he is there are a greater many things he cannot do because of it as well. Superiority Complex: It’s undoubtedly clear that Julies thinks he is the king of anything he sets his mind to and that victory in all things are waiting for him around every bend. His overconfidence and belief that he is better than everyone else is a tribute to how easily the young can be corrupted. QUIRKS; Stuffed animal collecting: Is it strange a child whose personality hardly ever matches his face, to do something that is actually kind of adorable? Julius’ biological mother used to make him teddy bears and all manners of stuffed toy animals before her untimely passing. His stepmother is hardly what one could call domestic and wouldn’t know what to do with a sewing machine. So to fill the gap Julius buys them and is often compelled to do so whenever he sees them. FEARS; Being left alone: Money doesn’t buy happiness, Julius hasn’t learned it yet but it’s no substitute for honest sentiment and pure intentions. So strong is his belief that friends can be bought he doesn’t understand that money won’t keep them there and he fears when that day might come yet is incapable of breaking the vicious cycle he’s set himself in. Dogs: Not that Julius is a cat person or anything but he’s always had a minute fear of canines. He’s never been bitten before, not once has he been a victim of an overzealous affection, but simply doesn’t like them and that dislike has morphed into fear. GOALS; World domination: Anyone would take this unachievable goal as a joke but then again, not everyone has the resources that Julius has at his disposal. He really does aspire to become the ruler of the world – if not only a part of it. Joining SHIFT CORPS: What better way to get his foot in the door than having a parent work in its facility? Bright and aspiring he definitely hits the mark on the achievements of his own and fervent pursuit of his academics in the future will surely amount to him being able to weasel his way into their fold. PERSONALITY; Unfalteringly confident: Almost baselessly so, Julius has a measure of charisma and sureness in himself and all that he does that makes him believe that he is every bit in control of the world around him. Tactical & deliberate: Nothing that Julius does is commanded by irrational thinking. He knows that anything done in haste or without firm designs can be leveled and because of this resounding knowledge he has applied this logic to everyday living. Charming & Charismatic: What greater shame would there be for a boy of his heart melting cuteness to not be amiable and popular? Looks alone contribute to the idiom of a child who has everyone’s best interests at heart. That and an enigmatic persona and you have yourself the proverbial triple threat: cute, charismatic, and corrupt. Completely spoiled rotten: The outside of this apple looks like every other but a single bite will denounce that assumption for Julius is rotten to the core. He’s always been given whatever it was he wanted, money is never an issue, neither is company. So overall Julius believes he is entitled to everything under the sun and beyond the horizon, Possessive & Selfish: Julius is probably one of those children that make’s people want to slap him across the face. He can be unbelievably selfish, wanting what is well beyond his reach with little concern for the well being of others. So long as his needs are met nothing else seems to hold much concern for him. Not only this but when he has what he wants, even if he’s bored with it and it sits collecting dust, he will throw a fit if someone tries to take it from him. Nobody is allowed to touch what belongs to him. CHRONOLOGICAL TIMELINE CURRENT RESIDENCE; Gated Community CURRENT OCCUPATION; Student HISTORY; Julius doesn’t have a very exciting story in comparison to some. He was born in Belfort, France and that was where he resided until he was ten years old. His father, an accomplished biologist and chemist, was hired from overseas to join the SHIFT program and it was an honor to receive such consideration from the fast growing company. His father left home to pursue the opportunity leaving behind his wife and child. He wasn’t neglectful, he would come home at every possible opportunity but for the majority of the year he was absent. Julius bonded a great deal with his mother during this time and she dotted on him fervently. However she had always had a rather weak constitution and on the winter of his ninth year fell ill with meningitis. The symptoms resembled a cold and none were the wiser to believe her fever and sluggishness, lack of appetite and sensitivity to light were anything to worry for. It wasn’t until a week into her cold-like symptoms that she collapsed and was rushed to a hospital. When the prognosis was announced there was more bad news to come. The infection had spread to her brain and the inflammation it caused forced his ailing mother into a coma. A week later her heart gave out. The swiftness of the disease hit Julius especially hard because during this time there were no relatives to console him and the family estate was filled with nothing but servants and shadows. His father was unable to come away from work and for that Julius harbored a measure of hate for the man. From overseas his father took care of the household but it was a year before all the assets were settled. Julius was left with the house caretakers in that year after his mothers passing and when he was ten, was flown from France to join his father where he has lived since. |
