words 691 tagged Michael music figurehead comments >///< A teacher and a photographer/journalist – their family wasn’t lacking in talent that was for sure. Whichever way it happened to be analyzed it was apparent to even the untaught eye that the siblings had made more than decent progress in the pursuit of their careers whereas Sun-Hi had barely even begun to chase hers. An aspiring singer whose voice had only ever rang out twice in a concert hall was hardly what one could call significant headway in the long arduous road laid out before her. Though, if nothing else, hearing of the success of his sister at such a younger age as well as Mihael’s own strengthened her resolve to reach her own goals someday. How could it not? Day after day she exercised in the hopes of having her talent recognized, strove to stand out and do what she loved. And while the branches of each profession differed, the battle to gain such altitude and to solidify their standing in society were unquestionably alike one another’s.
Mihael’s reassurances brought shy smiles and finally achieved a rosier faced Korean who then proceeded to tousle the dark ocher strands of the man’s hair and frown bashfully. “I’ll stop looking all embarrassed when you stop giving me reasons to get embarrassed!” she chided in affected scorn, the edges of her frown dispelling into a giddy smile that refused to be broken long even for the sake of her playfulness. Her fingers glided through the deep mahogany strands that admitted her presence among them without reservation. Despite its length it was thick, well combed and easy to work her hands through, back and forth back and forth. Belatedly she realized that the touching of someone’s hair was an extremely intimate gesture – not that she was opposed to contact and in fact welcomed the idea – but it was also oddly calming.
Having not realized just how tense she had been but moments before, Sun-Hi let out a breath that sounded like it had been trapped far too long inside. The urge to lean forward, bury her face in his hair and just absorb the scent of him, drink the smells of the places he’d been, the people he’d met and wrap herself in those fragrances, made her shudder faintly. She wanted them so she could know the man with this magnetic nonchalance and personified charm or maybe just because they were the scents on him and above anything else that was what she wanted, him. So frightening how one could drown in attraction, how fast rational and logic could leave and how little it would be missed so long as the ecstasy promised was real enough to fill its place. Sun-Hi kept the small, plaintive noise that crawled around in her chest when Mihael stood up, which forced her to drop her hands into her lap and fixate intensely on them.
He was driving her up the wall with his nearness, closeness that she couldn’t quite breach and yet he seemed to be offering with the subtle brush of his thigh to hers. Her heart was having a hard time keeping it together, another injury caused by the schoolteacher, one she doubted had an immediate remedy. He was treating her like a lady, a woman, something to be cherished and held close but not smothered, he played to her humor and dropped smiles like free candy. Would she be selfish if she stored them all away in a bag and didn’t share them? Would anyone frown upon her for wanting them all to herself?
With some foreign resolve, steadier than it had been in the last few minutes of their interaction, Sun-Hi edged closer and lined the side of their bodies up. From leg to shoulder – or rather her shoulder coming just below the middle of Mihael’s bicep and from the gentle press through their clothing it was no hidden fact that he didn’t just come to the gym to pick up women on their bicycles whenever he felt like it. “Where's your sense of adventure! If you don't mind giving me ten minutes we can go to the cinema if you're not busy!” she chatted excitedly.

Oh, she was absolutely stunning, Her teasing and sweet nature had won him over easy, and his eyes were scorched with heat. It was impossible not to want the woman in front of him, to indulge. He enjoyed how she had willingly touched him, her hand in his soft auburn hair. Every little thing she did only fueled the desire he had for her, physical and mentally. Mihael wanted to know Sun, get to be as intimate as she wished, and then some. He wanted to know every aspect of her life, of her. Although the man had not caught her intensified heartbeat, he knew that she was just as excited by him; her reactions, little quirks, told him so. Her hair looked soft, and Mihael wanted to take out the tie that kept the silken strands up and out of his immediate reach. "I don't lead a very exciting life," he teased hi in response, scooting just slightly toward the desirable woman. He would play this game as well as she.
At her suggestions on the cinema, he let a small grin grace his handsome features for a few moments, before it disappeared, serious once more, if only for a few moments. "Are you in the mood for a comedy, or are you a gore sort of woman?" he asked her, teasing slightly, before adding on, "Perhaps you like romance?" Soft lips curved into a sinful smile, the tips of his fingers just barely brushing against her leg. yes, that was a bit bold for the man, but Mihael wanted to see her reaction, wanted to know that she was just as interested in him as he was in her. The man stood, extending his hand to her, wanting to help Sun Sun up. "Alright, Sun, see you out here in ten." And thus, their plans for the evening were set. Unexpected, but by god she was gorgeous, and he wanted to let her know it, in everything he did. The teacher smiled, letting his hand slip from her slowly, savoring the contact between them.
He kept all of his items in the locker he had rented. The key slide into the contraption easily, activating the tumblers, allowing the metal cavity to open. Mihael snagged his bag, heading into the showers. It wasn't crowded, but there were a few people here. He paid them no mind, and he received the same treatment; leave them be. The man stripped down, stepping into the shower with his soap, little scrubbie, and shampoo. He ran a ran over his stomach; there were abs there, his muscles well toned, although he wasn't a body builder. His body was nice, he had to admit as Mihael cleansed himself, ready to step out of here clean and ready to engage with a young woman on.. a date? Was that what this was? He let himself smile, scrubbing himself with the lathered scrubbie, enjoying his newfound cleanliness. It felt so good, finally, to be cleansed of this sweat. It was an atrocious smell, dirty. His hair was next after he had washed his body off, hurrying as much as possible. It was impolite to keep a woman waiting, after all. The guy lathered up his dark hair, inhaling the clean scent, like linen or ocean. Definitely not feminine, but not overly masculine, either. He washed out his locks, stepping out of the shower and turning it off, reaching for his towel to dry himself off. It didn't take long, and he redressed; a pair of dark jeans and a t-shirt that fit Mihael's frame well.
He emerged after applying the necessities, among them deodorant and a tad bit of cologne. Inhaling deeply, the man was pleased that he had not applied too much to his person. Not wanting to be all cologne, he mixed it with his own personal scent. His hair was slightly damp, but it would soon dry. Mihael emerged from the men's locker room, waiting for the woman was had captured him for the night.

I'm gonna break your heart and get away with murder you should've known from the start
words 691 tagged Michael music figurehead comments >///< Of the collection of novels safely stored on the shelf in her apartment Sun-Hi could honestly say that their versions of the fateful encounter between the two future lovers were far more complicated then what was transpiring here. Not only this but none of them really prepared her for the breath-stealing smiles or the lighthearted repartee being given to her so generously. She would have believed she would be well equipped for an occurrence such as this, an occasion when she found herself wanting of more than a casual relationship and felt like she’d been starved of something without ever knowing the hunger. No, these waves of fire that was being poured inside her, stroked tenderly until the frothing hearth escaped the protective barriers and ran rampantly through her body, was nothing like the gentler heats she’s experienced. Those candlestick heats were nothing in comparison.
Having had her composure thoroughly rattled from the butterfly touches, the sneaky grins, the playful prodding, one would have thought she couldn’t look or be anymore anxious then she was. But Sun-Hi trounced such speculation by the full-faced blush that rose from her neck, around her ears and disappeared behind her bangs as the callused fingertips gingerly played across her leg with a purposeful remark in accompaniment. It took every ounce of willpower to keep her from burying her face in her hands, she felt like someone had lit fire to her cheeks. It didn’t even cross her mind as he played the dangerous game of too much – too little contact, frazzled enough for her thoughts to bypass decorum. “I-I’m up for anything!” her reply a sharp squeak, failing to gather her shattered control and grateful for the hand up seeing as her legs felt like someone had attached live wires to them and they were still numb from shock.
When they parted ways, she in the respective safety of the women’s locker room, breathed a sigh of relief. The cool tile pressed against her back was a salve on her feverish skin and she released another captive breathe before realizing she’d left her gym bag on the bench where they’d been sitting. Rushing out, retrieving the forgotten item and returning to the changing rooms she retrieved her utilities – mindful of Taru whom she had to move to get at her towel – and entered the showers that were always and forever would be, more crowded then the males.
Having already wasted precious time fighting with Taru over the towel the woman set to work on rinsing away the grime of her workout and debating whether or not to do the same with her hair. Her hair was thin when it came to strands and would dry easily outside, there was just a lot of it and time was of the essence. Deciding that if she didn’t she might resent it later, she proceeded to administer the shampoo and its conditioner, lathering her hair which felt a mile long today and rinsing as thoroughly as possible under the spray of hot water. When all was done she packed her clothing and redressed in the blouse and capri’s she’d worn in. She didn’t have perfume and in fact didn’t much have a liking for women’s sprays of that nature, a lot of them smelled too strong when joined with her already fragrant body washes and never mingled well together. Applying her other necessities, brushing through her hair in record time, and re-seating Taru to her head where she hunkered down, she returned to the hall to see Mihael was there and glistening like a Greek God.
“Sorry if I made you wait, I forgot Taru in the hallway.” She admitted sheepishly. Her eyes absorbed him and a wry smile grew over her face, "I look tiny compared to you." she teased. Admittedly she looked tiny next to a lot of people but beside him it seemed more noticeable. He'd have to lean down if I wanted to kiss him. she thought impishly, laughing into the sleeve of her blouse.

Although his wait could have easily been torturous, Mihael felt that he was enjoying the anxiousness that arose within him. He hadn’t experienced something of this nature in a long time; at first the man found it refreshing, but after a few minutes, it was becoming more dire as the clocked ticked on. One of the few times his patience wore thin, he breathed a short sigh of relief as Sun appeared; her beauty was impeccable, perfectly flawless, inside and out. How the people of this city could choose to hate someone such as her for the circumstances prior to her birth was beyond Mihael. Her attire was casual, but the man was overjoyed to see that Sun-Hi wasn’t a tacky woman, or worse. She looked wonderful, and Mihael drank up her image, as though he had been wandering in the desert, parched but unaware of his utter need.
A god? Him? Hah. If the little female before him had voiced her impression of him, the teacher would have laughed. It was she who appeared heavenly, celestial in every way. The little avian perched upon her head made him smile; it reminded him of his sister’s feline, who enjoyed laps a bit too much and being held like a baby or small child. At Sun’s apology another slow smile unfurled. “No worries. You were worth the wait,” he replied, grin genuine, teasing her with what had been left unsaid. Mihael laughed softly at her observation. The woman appeared to be a porcelain doll compared to him, her flawless skin of a fairer tone, face flushed in all the right places. Sun Sun practically glowed, and her presence was what kept the easy curve of his lips upward on his face. “Shall we be off? The night is young, and so are we,” Mihael teased her. The man had to actually look down to see the darling woman, but Mihael, in all honesty, found that he minded very little, if at all. She was fragrant but not overly so, and the man felt more of a pull toward her; he had the distinct urge to hug Sun, draw her close to inhale her personal aroma, commit it to memory. It was, from afar, a scent that was both sweet and natural to him. “Do you have a car parked here, did you walk..?” the man questioned Sun, partly because the desire to drive his own vehicle was great. Like a typical male, being behind the wheel of his own car made him feel powerful and in control. It wouldn’t hurt his chances, either, if he was the gentleman. Offering her a ride to wherever Sun-Hi needed to go was just in his nature.
His question was solely practical; Mihael wasn’t any sort of a creep. The idea of the woman beside him falling prey to someone like that, a monster, allowed a deep-rooted protectiveness to well up inside of him. It was a strong wave, but Mihael wouldn’t ever fight it. His sense of morals, code of honor, allowed him to act like a gentleman, be one whenever and wherever he could. He added on, after a brief pause, “I’m just curious about where I’ll be dropping you off after our rendezvous.” His voice dripped with amusement, taunting the woman before him. Would she be so bold as to suggest otherwise, or would Sun simply answer his question? The teacher took a few steps toward the exit of the gym. “Well?” Mihael prompted her, that wolfish grin still in place on his lips. Although his cheeks weren’t flushed, they easily could have been; Mihael wasn’t the one who was usually doing the flustering.
He began to walk toward the door, calculating his stride in order to assure that his company wouldn’t be at a light jog in order to keep pace with him. It wasn’t like he minded readjusting himself. Mihael could feel his calf and thigh muscles burning slightly, the same could be said for his upper arms. Lactic acid, one of the subtopics he taught when covering respiration, was something fun to discuss; practice was, however, far different and less enjoyable than theory. Mihael didn’t enjoy the burn, but it didn’t bother him, either. The slight burn, more like embers than a blazing inferno, meant his body had received the workout he had come here for. Mihael was more than pleased to have been exiting the gym with more than he originally had planned. Presently, the man took his time to examine the beautiful woman he had stumbled upon. Every one of her features was exquisite and delicate, as though Sun had been crafted from the finest of china. Beautifully long lashes framed her bright doe eyes, her lips soft and full; the natural pink stood out from the soft cream color. Her cheekbones weren’t especially high or low set, nicely planned in the middle. Sun’s whole look, facial structure, was unique. And that body! She was almost as fit as he was, maybe; Sun’s physique was just right. His eyes strayed downward slightly, not staring but just naturally gliding, absorbing her image. The blouse she was wearing complimented her chest; the capri’s hugged her thighs slightly, showing off how toned they were.

I'm gonna break your heart and get away with murder you should've known from the start
words 740 tagged Michael music Wind - Akeboshi comments n/a If all the blood kept diverting to her face like this she was going to need to be carried out of the car before they even reached the theater. Each compliment deserved another but for the life of her Sun-Hi was having a difficult time coming up with anything that didn’t expose just how fanatical she was becoming where he was concerned. Nor was she under any delusion that hers would not come so seamlessly as those being gifted to her. “You are impossible,” she laughed nervously, shaking her head in a disparaging fashion that gave her precious seconds to regulate her heartbeat and make a conscious effort to maintain her composure. When at last she felt courageous enough to meet the Mihael’s eyes, which her watching her ever so intently and made her freeze involuntarily, she said cheerily, “Unless you want me to turn into a puddle in your car I suggest you’ll need to stop complimenting me.”
Mihael’s next comment earned him both a full-fledged smile and peals of laughter. “Where did you steal that line from?” she laughed, arms circling around her stomach as if by doing so she could contain her hysteria which proved as ineffective as it looked. “Write romance novels Mihael, you’ll make millions.” She murmured, half serious about the statement. If he could wrote as well as he spoke there was little doubt in her mind that he could become an instant best seller – and even if his writing ensnare the hearts of thousands of women everywhere, his picture in the About Me section would draw a large enough fan base. At the notion of having swarms of females, whether they are readers or husband hunters, flocking to his side made her hesitate. Sun-Hi had never considered herself a possessive woman but in that instant she wished she could retract her earlier statement. She did not fancy the image her rampant imagination conjured, hordes of women vying for the man’s attention made her edgy enough to resent her own words.
The little woman was drawn from her thoughts by Mihael’s query on her transportation and Taru, the nosy thing, shuffling around on her head and giving Mihael a thorough inspection that did not involve touching the actual subject. It was a pragmatic question and he had viable motivation to ask so Sun-Hi obliged quickly and readily. Perhaps she was simply growing accustomed to the gentleman that the response was all but automatic, or maybe she was merely that trusting of others in the fact that they wouldn’t wish her any ill-will. Either was probable considering the girl did not often encounter people who actively looked for ways to do her harm but it would pay to have a moderate amount of caution at the very least. “I walked, my school isn’t far from here so I’ll sometimes come here after class.” She replied taking note of the ever so subtle rosy tincture of the other’s cheeks and smirking evilly. “So~ Even the big man can get flustered. I think I’ve discovered my new goal for today.”Oh she would certainly enjoy making the striking schoolteacher turn cherry red if she could, seeing as he had already done quite the same to her.
Sitting on cloud nine with no intention of returning to earth anytime in the near or foreseeable future, Sun-Hi blinked reflexively as the sunset’s glare showered over them. As her eyes adjusted themselves to the luminous setting she paused by the entrance as she examined her company and lost all the air in her lungs in doing so. The natural sunlight did what the fluorescents could not, the light brushwork of the fiery ginger rays gave new life to the auburn strands that had felt so wonderful trailing between her fingers. It held a gloss that the gym lights hadn’t been able to achieve and the tones of his skin played amongst shadows and dips in his profile that created an enigmatic ambiance around him. Despite having been perfectly comfortable in his presence she suddenly felt like she couldn’t get near him, as though trying to shouldn’t be allowed. He was amenable and not, forthcoming yet aloof, engaging and nonchalant, so many contradictions and Mihael was all of them for a precious few moments where her mind refused to see anything else around her but the rough and smooth lines of his contour.
She never realized she had tensed, it had come about so naturally that she hadn't picked up on her anxieties affect on her stance but Taru had. And she was not pleased. The clay-colored sparrow, earnestly believing that Sun-Hi was nervous in a negative way toward the curiously close man, released a deep, throaty chirping that sounded more like a broken alarm clock the louder it become. Sun-Hi jumped, "Taru, what's wrong? Um, not sure I can go with you Mihael...Taru's being contrary." she whined as she gingerly reached up to run her fingers over the bird who quieted but ruffled her feathers, conveying her discontent.

It was impossible for him not to pick up on the lines of anxiety, her excitement, her full presence here and now. Mihael could sense her tensions running high, how she was so excited and yet very flustered, quiet but for a few things. His heart was beating fast, and the man could feel it pounding in his ears; however, Mihael didn't dare focus too much on that or make note of that to her. The adrenaline coursed through his veins, his body responded to her own, stimulated by what she was feeling and the hormones Sun was emanating. He sent her another tiny smile at his joke, before that shifted into a wolfish grin, knowing that she would have recognized that line. "I dare not tell you all my secrets," he shot back at her, his voice teasing and light. Oh, how she was adorable, how she was so desirable. He hadn't felt this need for someone in this way in such a long time, it was hard to comprehend, for the woman rendered Mihael breathless; how he carried on such a conversation was beyond all that he knew or thought possible. He laughed softly at her suggestion, and like her mind let his wander to that fake scenario. Ah, romance novels; he knew that Vi read them, although he had never taken an interest in them. A major part of what readers enjoyed, as he very well knew, were the raunchy sex scenes between the main characters.
Mihael felt his cheeks turn a bit redder; perhaps in the setting sun she would not notice the flush. He had a healthy love life, although it had died down a bit in the last year. The man let another deliciously sinful grin slide across his lips, directed right toward her. "I think I would need a co-writer for that.. interested?" he questioned the woman, the auburn strands of his hair obscuring his vision only slightly, his brown eyes gleaming, reflecting the light off the dying sun through the windshield. Oh, Sun was going to drive him crazy, she already was. He wanted to touch her, run his hands over every inch of her skin and memorize it, before doing it all again. He didn't imagine the woman, but rather enjoyed fantasizing about Sun; romance novels, what a suggestion. Was that the area that her mind was in? If it was, well, Mihael wasn't quite complaining.
Slipping the key into the ignition he started up the black car, pleased to hear the soft purr of the engine as it sprang into life. The man nodded at her response, knowing that it made sense for her to walk; economically, she saved on gas, and it was a good warm up for her before actually working out at the fitness center. It let his lips slink into a smirk instead as he thought of taking her back to wherever she wished. He knew that this wouldn't be the last time she was with him; Mihael had all the intention in the world of spending time with Sun-Hi, learning about her and enjoying her company. She brought beauty into a world that had been painted grey, colors springing to life with her speech, her giggles, and her smiles. Sun herself was as refreshing as a good rain, with all of the colors and new life as spring. She could have been considered as goddess, although Mihael didn't want to compliment her with that much just yet; he would save it for a later time. Her comment took him off guard, as though she had suddenly caused the sword to fly from his hand in the arena. "W-What?" Now it was his turn to stutter. His cheeks, once rosy, turned almost scarlet, caught completely off guard. "You know.. I think my goal would be to distract you enough that you forget your own." Oh, Sun wouldn't leave him be after this, would she? Now that she knew his weakness, the woman would enjoy making him blush as much as he had done the same to her. He was surprised to look at her to find her standing so tense, as though she were ready to spring or flee.
He took a step toward her, genuine concern darkening his features slightly; when the had been light, now they were dark, the emotion creating shadows on the planes of his face, his brows furrowed in confusion. Had he done something wrong? His hand touched her upper arm gently, before she spoke; as she was talking it dropped, and his hand sorely missed the physical contact, as did the rest of his body. He wanted her to curl up next to him, hug her to his larger frame and never let go, protect and care for her to the best of his abilities. It was a deep rooted male desire to please a woman; was it because she was so delicate? Perhaps. That, and the natural sweetness, almost innocence, that completed her whole aura. His shock at her explanation was understandable, almost predictable. "Taru?" he repeated, peering intently at the little sparrow; her usually dull color was lit on fire by the rays of the dying sun. "I think that if you relaxed a little bit more, doll face." He slipped in that little term of endearment, also a compliment. The man had noticed how tense she was, although Sun Sun probably didn't.

I'm gonna break your heart and get away with murder you should've known from the start
words 673 tagged Michael music Wind - Akeboshi comments n/a Mihael was a pleasure to be around even during the times where she wanted to cup her hands over those slanted lips to put a stopper on the outpour of affection she was receiving. His attraction to her seemed almost reverent, as though the very ground she walked on was worth gold and had he the ability to do so would strip the sidewalks of its concrete. In all honestly she could imagine herself fulfilling such an obscenely ludicrous idea and while she squelched the sheepishness that swiftly followed on the heels of that self-admission she wouldn’t doubt that she was capable of finding a chisel somewhere to do as she envisioned. Mihael would be worth the fine for the destruction of public property and how ever many cases of vandalism they could slap her with. His carriage was self-assured, an indemnity in his swagger that if not for the crimson swathes across his cheeks she would never have known that Mihael was flustered by her presence or so responsive to her nearness. Not that the same could not being applied to her as well which made it a rather moot point.
With the fiery embers of the dying light highlighting and accenting the others profile Sun-Hi could hardly discern a deeper shade from its already present flame so the man was saved from further heckling from the small Korean woman who would have taken full advantage of the opportunity. Instead she bristled challengingly, donning a grin to match the predatory smile that sped her pulse. “Only if I can harass you over deadlines?” she retorted, watching as the ocher of the man’s eyes flashed amber, like warmed honey. The analogy conjured quite an image, of her trying to taste those beautiful eyes and decide for herself whether they would be as sweet as they appeared in the orange cast that had brought her attention to them.
His stutter was adorable, Sun-Hi made a mental note to try and make him do that more often. With a wide smile woman offered a wry expression. “Sadly I think your distractions would have the opposite effect on someone like me.” In fact, everything about the man was a disruption in and of itself. If she wasn’t fixating on how gorgeous the taller was she was pondering the stark intelligence of the individual who was making off with her. He was bewitching her and she really couldn’t bring herself to mind all that much. If only she could be so composed. He exuded a mesmeric pull that she hopelessly followed, resisted, desired and feared, and without an outlet for her turbulent emotions she could only allow them to churn and mingle into the tempest of nervousness that affected the man and her animal companion.
The hand that grazed her skin sent a jolt through her system, positively electrifying and hadn’t she been so wanton for his attention she was now as she watched the worry dance across his features. When the contact was lost she mourned it, made a muffled sound that sounded pathetically enough like a whimper. Taru’s distress was hers and the palm-sized bird was fiercely defending the woman from the ‘threat’ she perceived Mihael to be. From atop her head she fluffed her breast and flapped threateningly, calling sharply and looking as though she might truly lunge for him if the gap wasn’t restored.
“I’m sorry, I’m not usually this rattled up.” She murmured apologetically, her hands inching around her ornery companion and scooping her into her hands with some difficulty. When she did manage it she pulled the bird from its perch and cradled her in her palms. “It’s alright Taru, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to get so anxious but it’s a happy anxiousness.” She said somewhere during her explanation her gaze had moved back to Mihael and seeing him fret brought another smile. “I’m sure this ‘dollface’ will be able to calm down during the car ride if Adonis over is done making me blush like a high school girl.”

The man laughed at the retort Sun had shot back, her nature was good humored and amiable. ”So long as I get to spend time with you, you can harass me over anything you’d like.” Okay, so what if he felt the need to hit on her in every sentence? Each word he said was rewarded with a reaction from the oriental beauty before him, his gaze admiring, hot and sultry. Mihael wanted to please Sun, in any way that she seemed to lack happiness. The woman was a fountain of joy, and Mihael could stand here and drink her in all day, every day if he could. He was fixated upon her, not only for her looks but for the way she was, who she was. Sun-Hi was a perpetually happy woman, and he was drawn to her, like a binary star system, unable to pull himself away from the glory that she was. The setting sun was an almost clichéd romantic scene, and although they weren’t quite at that stage, he was almost sure that Sun would protest of he swooped down for a kiss. The only problem was the little bit who was threatening him with her chirps and such, unable to get the point across that he wasn’t the threat here. It was cute how Taru defended her other half, although it got in the way of his advances. Well, there would hopefully be some more time with Sun, so what was he worrying about?
Her apology, mumbled and almost pitiful, startled Mihael. ”No big deal. I’m glad to know that I have you so worked up as to disrupt your friend.” His voice was teasing, devilishly asserting himself as the one to have her on edge, pleased much to know that the affect he had on her was the same she had on him. Well, that was fair, then, right? He grinned at Sun, watching as she handled Taru expertly. The amicus of the SHIFT Corp. had always astounded him. Although they weren’t psychically connected to their human, the animals were deeply in tune to their emotions and such. It was amazing how well the pair communicated, how well they understood each other. The biology between them was simple, but Mihael was almost certain that there was something more; if he could research that bond, he would. But school had him busy, and the man had neither the technology nor the time at this point in his life to accomplish this feat on his own. As she gently comforted her cantankerous friend, Mihael smiled at the action. It was gentle, approving, and admiring. Again, the bond fascinated him, though not to a point of obsession, like some people. As well, it was interesting to see the sparrow’s reaction to all of this, if Sun could so easily get the bird to stop twittering at him so threateningly. He laughed as Sun spoke to him, shaking his head slightly, the amber strands falling to frame his face. ”The only way that’ll happen is if you… no, I’m pretty sure that it’ll happen regardless,” he teased the woman, his smile more than teasing. He continued on to the car, heading to the passenger side of the vehicle to open her door, before sliding around the hood to get in, the keys easily slipping into the ignition. The familiar purr of the engine pleased Mihael, a reassurance that all was running well. He enjoyed his car, used it well and wouldn’t trade it for another one any time soon.
Once Sun-Hi was in and buckled up, he pulled out of the parking lot with ease. It didn’t take long before they were on the main road, heading to the cinema. When was the last time he had seen a movie? A while back, maybe last fall with a guy he had met; that relationship hadn’t lasted too long. Their schedules were different, and they each wanted different things from life. Well, whatever. Mihael didn’t quite care too much, it was worth trying and he didn’t regret that relationship. The man looked over to her as they hit their first red light, applying light pressure the brake ahead of time, the stop gentle and easy. ”About these romance novels…” he laughed, wondering if she’d entertain his thoughts on the subject and share her own. What a doll.

I'm gonna break your heart and get away with murder you should've known from the start
words 673 tagged Michael music Wind - Akeboshi comments n/a Sun-Hi rolled her eyes in mock exasperation, cradling the clay-sparrow to her chest as she gave Mihael a sidelong glance. “You sir, are a shameless flirt and neither Taru nor I are going to listen to you anymore, isn’t that right Taru?” tone assuming a haughty affect as she averted her eyes to the bird in her cupped hands who tweeted back in uplifting notes. It wasn’t clear whether or not the woman’s feathered counterpart understood what was being said but even if Sun-Hi’s words did not transcend into a language Taru understood, her emotions certainly had and they pacified the sparrow into believing that the issue had been resolved. By the time she was done repositioning Taru in her earlier nest on her head she was able to catch Mihael making an ever so obvious note of her appearance. He seemed to do that a lot and while it made her a bit self-conscious to be under that steady chocolate gaze she wasn’t about to argue with it. It meant she was desirable, that he liked what he saw and liked to look a lot. But just because she wouldn’t argue with being watched so intently didn’t mean she wouldn’t bite back.
“Perhaps I should have asked to go to a restaurant instead of a movie?” this rising from her wryly a might chiding of the man. “You keep looking at me like I’m on the menu, and I am but I don’t think you could quite foot the bill.” Ha! She could flirt when she tried! Quirking a brow at the her large counterpart and pouted, screwing up her brows at him, when Mihael insisted that regardless of what happened she’d be no less flustered. Not that she could really argue the point because it was very likely that he could be a statue and she end up blushing from head to toe. But still! “What you have in looks you certainly lack in tact, Mihael!” she hollered, jogging after the schoolteacher and sending him a playful half smile over the door he held open for her before she settled in and buckled her seat belt.
She’d have to remove Taru from her head so that the bird didn’t get crushed between the roof and her, this resulted in the woman holding the bird in her hands again and in her lap while Mihael pulled out of the lot and set their course. Her thoughts were spinning a mile a minute. What would Solei think when she told her about Mihael? There simply would be no keeping this from her roommate considering she’d be glowing like a firefly at the end of her outing and wouldn’t be capable of hiding it. And what about Mihael? By anyone’s standards this qualified as a date and while Sun-Hi had been on a few of her own she couldn’t say there had been such allure between herself and her partners. Not to mention this one oozed sex appeal and was like a walking aphrodisiac to anything with estrogen, or testosterone.
During the lapse of silence, comforted by the noise of her thoughts, she wasn’t surprised that it was Mihael who broke first though his choice in subject got a sheepish grin out of the girl. “Yes what about those romance novels, Casanova? I swear you stole dialogue out of them with the things that come out of your mouth. Or wrote them.”

It was a pleasure to know that the little bird Sun possessed had been put at ease, although Mihael wasn't sure how long that would last. All he had to do was get the woman all anxious again- and that would be considerably easy, when one thought of how much they were attracted to each other. His eyes still remained on her feminine form, and Mihael couldn't help but wonder if her skin was that soft beneath the clothes she had on. His thoughts were beginning to stray toward a more sinful nature, perhaps toward a territory that had yet to be explored in regards to Sun. Her comment brought him back, drawing him brutally from his thoughts; hook embedded in his cheek, she was the one behind the fishing rod, reeling him in. His light brown eyes, more of a milk chocolate, went wide with shock. The blush that had faded a few minutes ago returned with a new vigor, lighting up his cheeks scarlet. A small grin curved his lips; now it was his turn to be the sheepish one. Oh, the woman had caught him in the act. But her reaction wasn't negative in the least. Sun had a good sense of humor and called him out on his wandering gaze, but she did it in a way that was light and enjoyable. Her good humor shone through, and he appreciated that.
His grin was gentle, good natured, and he even found her comment funny. The response slid from his lips slowly, as though Mihael had all the time in the world to stay here and banter with the sexy woman. ”If that were the case, I'd spend all night washing dishes to cover the bill. Dinner would be worth it," Mihael said. It was a tiny bit of cute witty banter, which alluded to something more sexual. He didn't mind, and was almost certain Sun didn't either. The woman was more than definitely worth getting into trouble with, if just for the sound of her voice. It was fine but not overly so, just enough that Mihael strove to hear more of her. The next comment about his tact (or lack thereof) caused him more amusement. "You know I can't argue with that," the man laughed softly.
She was right, after all; right up to a point. Mihael didn't lack tact, he just chose right now to be a bit more blunt that Sun-Hi was used to. His waves of advances were more bold, and he enjoyed the reaction he ignited within her. Sun wasn't resisting him, he wasn't resisting her. The advances were mutual, his a bit more bold, but still enjoyable all the same. If he knew that she didn't feel comfortable, he'd immediately stop. As the woman mused on her roommate's reaction, Mihael wondered where the night would lead. A second date, hopefully. It wasn't uncommon for the man to enjoy himself with his romantic interests, and seeing them again was always a plus. But never before had Mihael felt urges so strong so soon in the game. The man didn't know if he wanted to embrace her, kiss her senseless or strip the woman down to her skivvies. Although Mihael left her know he wanted her, the teacher was having difficulty in keeping Sun-Sun from knowing just how badly he desired her. Sun-Hi's response to his conversation starter enticed a soft chuckle from him, his grip on the wheel going lax as he turned the corner, heading down a side street. The cinema, part of the mall, had a huge parking lot, and this detour would get the couple - or rather, trio - there faster. Oh, I would never steal lines. You are worth being original for," Mihael admitted, sending her a teasing glance before his eyes returned to the road. I would need a woman's input if I were to write them. It'd allow my books to be more... realistic." He wondered if the woman before him enjoyed romance novels, seasoned with steamy sex scenes and spiced with witty dialogue. Mihael wouldn't put it past her.
