I'm gonna break your heart and get away with murder you should've known from the start

He had an athletic physique, or what one would equate to the term that came to mind. It was evidence that he was far more conscientious with his health and proved that he didn’t permit his work to carry too far over into his home life and consume a copious amount of time as it was liable to do. But the redness that now dashed his face was exactly what she had been striving for and there was no overlooking the playfully catty glance she shot the educator through the vein of ocher hair. Not that he let her sense of accomplishment last for long – or more like took the open opportunity she had unwittingly given him.
His comment was the last nail in her coffin and she resigned herself to the slash of crimson that flourished as brightly as neon lights. Her lashes formed crescents against her cheeks as she reminded herself that she was playing a dangerous game of wordplay with a man who obviously outmatched her. The statement pulled at things low in her stomach that really needed to settle down seeing as she really couldn’t blame their recent activity from the bumps in the road. “My common sense is telling me to stop giving you ammunition but I keep doing,” she spoke in abasing notes a smile prying at the corner of her lips. “I’m turning into a glutton for punishment.” The last uttered in a sulky tone that held no heat in regards to actually offense but warmth for the other and a clear attraction,
He was surpassing her previous relationships by a landslide and those of her pasts weren’t even comparable to being a shadow to the swapping of heated glances or the amorous jousting. It was fast paced and raw, something positively unfamiliar and gripping. “You’re too good at this, it should be criminal and it blows my mind to think that you aren’t wrapped up and married already. Where have you been? Under a rock somewhere?” the flush had abated, having taken it considerably well which could possibly be her desensitizing to the onslaught, Sun-Hi was back to needling her partner with a forthcoming counter statement. He didn’t have the air of a married man or even one that was jumping in and out of relationships like a woman traded off shoes. Which meant this was a date. Why hadn’t that occurred to her before?
She chortled, like a schoolgirl with a secret the wave of giddiness that fell in her lap was just about all she could take. “If you’re going for realism I don’t think you’d have to look further than your car.”

His own amusement was evident, and the large blossom of red embarrassment across Sun's face made everything today so worth being here with her. In fact, whether or not she was blushing was of no concern to Mihael, he just wanted the woman to have a fun time with him, enjoy his person and want to spend more time with him. That, for the moment, didn't seem to be too much of a problem. She was adorable, and although he was sure his cheeks were still just as red as hers, it was so worth it. Seeing Sun so flustered made Mihael feel like he was doing his job right, although the man didn't want to overdo it too much to the point where the little lady was uncomfortable. The comment about ammunition sent a small thrill through him. So, she was enjoying the banter? Good, it made him feel as though she would be able to take the innuendos he was sending her way. His auburn hair needed to be brushed from his eyes again, and his hair easily removed the stray silken strands from his field of vision while the other kept steady at the wheel. He took a left turn, easily pulling them into the vast parking lot of the mall. A little walk would do them no harm, he rationalized, pulling into a parking space close to the doors but not right up front. "No, no, I'm not married. Or with anyone, for that matter." Here, a wry grin teased his face, and his next response was sarcastic but still just as lighthearted. "Yes, actually, I do live beneath one. You'd be surprised how many people stop talking to me after I tell them that." His laugh was lighthearted and gentle, easily pulling the key out of the ignition, shutting the car off. For the first time, he realized, they had ridden the whole way to the theater in silence. But Mihael didn't mind, because the conversation was more than enough to fill him up.
He unbuckled and was out of the car, heading around to her side of the vehicle, easily opening the door to allow her passage out of it. The man had indeed caught her last suggestion. Well then. Perhaps he should look to his apartment instead, if she would allow him to. It wouldn't kill them to get to know each other, although his idea was both physically and psychologically. Well, whatever Sun-Hi wanted was what he would give here- and then some. The man waited for Sun to exit his car, shutting the door and locking the vehicle as a whole with the wonderful bit of technology attached to his keys.
For a moment, he paused, wondering if she would mind it if some physical contact was made. The man let himself smile slightly, knowing that if she wasn't interested in him at all, Sun wouldn't be here in the first lace. But then again, Mihael didn't want to be too overbearing. He deliberated on how to touch her, make it known that this was indeed a date, complete with a wonderfully beautiful woman. He took a step toward her, so that they were side by side for the moment, and he put his arm around her shoulders, gently pulling Sun-Hi close. He wasn't too rough, but gentle enough that if she didn't want to touch him she could just slither out of the warmth. "It's cold out," Mihael murmured softly, wondering if she'd call his bluff. Well, he figured, there was a fifty-fifty chance that she would. Either Sun would be afraid to ruin the moment by saying anything, she'd stay quiet; or she would comment about it but stay, literally, under his wing. The woman could also say something and just slip out from beneath him. Well, whatever she wanted. Again, Mihael just wanted to treat her right and make her happy. How long had he known her? An hour, hour and a half? Two? Three? He didn't know. But what he did know was that he wanted to make sure that the inner goodness she possessed always flourished and was never taken away from her. Or him, for that matter.

I'm gonna break your heart and get away with murder you should've known from the start
words 593 tagged Michael music kids- mgnt comments n/a To compete with Mihael’s unspoken analogy, Sun-Hi had gone fishing and the string of her pole had been drawn tight. Her only dilemma was deciphering who had whom, the fish or the fisherwoman? Grinning secretively at the thought she deduced that there was an even chance of both being responsible for their flagrant desirability held for the other and it was nothing to be ashamed about. They complimented one another, she thought to herself absently as her fingers played over the smooth feathers on Taru’s back. The bird in question seemed to thoroughly be enjoying the attention in spite of the fact that the woman was performing the act with hardly any active thought on her part. Here her mind had been utterly snagged and presently fixated on the driver of the vehicle who was admitting to the rock remark good-naturedly. “It must be a pretty big rock for you to live under it.” Imagining the man truly living beneath a stone someplace, like that character from the children’s show they aired and Solei had absolutely refused to watch with her and later forbade in their apartment.
The ride seemed comparatively short, their snatches of conversation couldn’t have taken more than a few minutes before slowing to an easy, amiable silence that had done nothing to stave off the flow of time as quiet tended to do. Instead they were there by the theater, rolling into the parking lot within what felt like minutes too and pulling into a space in the lot amongst the other moviegoers. Sun-Hi was already undoing her seatbelt as the engine produced its final hum and then fell silent, Mihael unbuckling as well while she stashed a sleepy Taru in her satchel. The car door swung wide and she was let out leaving the car to be locked upon her exit by its owner, she waited patiently away, basking in his presence. What sort of miracle would need to occur for her to focus on the movie they were supposed to be seeing?
Making sure the other did not lag behind Sun-Hi walked the drive with him, conscious of how he’d shortened his strides in order to match her smaller ones. His sudden closeness made her look up inquisitively, fully aware of the arms descent. To the average westerner the act was not so terribly intimate as it was intrusive to ones personal space. Had Sun-Hi truly been a creature in terms of origin where her name was derived such contact would have been a bound rather than a single step toward a desired future. She debated pulling away. The physical contact didn’t spur panic, admittedly her heart was racing at an almost worrying speed but she had no adverse feelings toward having the man’s arm or where it had chosen to rest. If anything it was an opportunity for her to initiated her own, shier allowance to where she grasped the back of his shirt and let herself be lead through the parking lot like a couple who’d been together far longer than the better part of two hours.
“Theater’s colder, going to hug me through the movie too?” she questioned with a cynical smile, eyes analyzing the man and his character as though it were a scientific element to which she could dissect for years and never know its every aspect but pleasantly surprised whenever she uncovered a new intricacy. It was something of grandeur between them. They didn’t have the awkwardness of a new couple, each knowing exactly what he or she were getting into.

Her acceptance of his arm placement made him smile, a small glow of happiness radiating out from him, pleased now that he had been accepted into her graces as a definite suitor. To be allowed that sort of a label - and he hated labels - let Mihael feel a small bit of gratification. He was happy, elated by this little bit of physical contact between the two of them. His strides had indeed shortened for her, keeping the pace gentle but still even, not too fast or slow. He wanted to make her comfortable, be sure that the woman was pleased with his actions. The walk through the parking lot allowed him some time to himself, jolted from his thoughts by her snide little question. The auburn haired man laughed softly, unable to truly muster up the courage to tell her what he really thought. Body heat would be shred faster without any sort of clothes on. And although sex was on the mind, Mihael didn't want Sun-Hi to think he was just out to get into her pants. "Only if you don't push me away," he murmured, his humor shining through as well, unable to stay in a bad mood now. The male lost his grip on her to open the door to the theater. "Ladies first," he said, a small devilish grin turning his lips upward. For however kind he was, Mihael knew when and how to have a good time. After all, she was the one who had suggested it, but he had taken her up on the offer.
Following her in, Mihael didn't quite jump in any of the lines to buy tickets just yet. "Your choice, Sun-Hi. I personally don't care what genre we see." Probably because seeing a movie with her was a miracle within itself. She made him happy, wanted to be with her more than anything right now. He did enjoy romances, but felt the need to analyze the characters. Science fiction films he liked, because it allowed him to compare that world to reality and decide how plausible it was. Gore and horror were also fun, but he didn't know if he wanted to stomach that tonight. On the other hand, it'd bring her close to him, if the little sparrow before him got scared. Well, whatever she wanted. He didn't mind her choosing; in fact, Mihael wanted her to choose. What harm could that cause?
His eyes canned her form, noting that the little bird who had been born with her was nowhere to be seen. The teacher remembered seeing her reaching for the satchel; perhaps that's where Taru was. It gave him a large amount of satisfaction to know that she had trusted him with the information of her experimentation, to know that the woman had the confidence to admit such to him. He was strong person, but to see one so small, so delicate.. it nearly broke his heart. Sun-Hi was a happy person, happier than he was, and it made him ecstatic to know that he was the one to make her blush, made her look away in frustration or embarrassment, make her want him. To make her happy was another thing altogether, to know that Sun-Hi was enjoying herself wouldn't be too hard of a task. Treat your women like precious jewels, as though nothing could replace them, nothing could outrank them. Mihael waited patiently for her decision, and then checked out the showtimes; the earliest show they could see was twenty minutes from now. That wasn't too bad of a wait.
