I'm gonna break your heart and get away with murder you should've known from the start
words 586 tagged open music Hiro No Tsuki comments The auditorium had never looked quite so big. Sitting in the rows of seats, surrounded on every side by her peers, it had seemed almost worthy of being called claustrophobically small. But today it was empty. Void of human presence and ringing with a dominant silence that was only disturbed when students passed by its large oak doors. Long glass windows spilled cold golden light across the isles, gossamer rays spraying the interior until it was overcast in pastel yellows and paled oranges to bring out the ocher hues of the wooden stage, Sun-Hi’s current vantage point and throne in the fearfully large space she had entered.
For the moment the university student was alone – or rather there was no other people in the auditorium aside from herself. The only other visitor was the tiny sparrow. Taru, who had discovered that so long as nobody was present could fly around the room to her hearts content, was presently reveling in her newfound liberties and taking advantage of every second of freedom she could get away with. The vocal major sitting with her legs hanging over the lip of the stage was hardly paying that much attention to her companion who scarcely seemed concerned with the brown-haired woman as well. Each were in their own worlds, seeking to sort through their own thoughts opposed to borrowing those from the other.
The young Korean shifter was staring unblinkingly at her lap, doe-eyes gone from sight as she soaked in the lyrics that whispered through her mind. She was rehearsing…well, working up the courage to rehearse anyway. Having only ever given live performances in her shower, at a friends birthday party or perhaps to her roommate Solei, Sun-Hi Moon could count on one hand the number of times she’d found herself on a stage for anything other than receiving an award or certificate. That number was a discouraging two times, both of which had been spent lost in the sea of other choir members and only then had she felt remotely comfortable. But this time around, the Spring concert for community, she wouldn’t have the same luxury or accommodations. This time around she’d have a small accompaniment following her as she sang but it was otherwise considered a solo.
It had been an exciting task to undertake that much had yet to change seeing as she hadn’t withdrawn her candidacy for the performance. Albeit, at the same time if her anxieties were going to rule her so completely that she couldn’t even practice in the quiet concert hall, she was afraid to even imagine how it’d progress on the day of the concert.
Eyes remained closed as the vocalist took a number of steady, measured breathes as she tried to chase away all her little worries and nagging fears from the forefront, giving herself space to simply not think of anything but the music she was supposed to sing. The room was quiet but even silence had music and she morphed the muted melody to that of the one she was expected to sing. Concentrating so wholeheartedly on hearing the nonexistent tune Sun-Hi didn’t notice the sudden weight on her shoulder as Taru came to investigate what the girl was up to, tilting her head inquisitively but doing nothing otherwise to disturb Sun-Hi’s preparations.
The moments that followed were filled with sound of her soft breathing but soon enough she began to repeat the stanzas she’d memorized, breathing life into the concert hall at last.

He had always wanted to come to this school and learn the arts, but having no sign of acting, musical or general artistic talent in him he had no way of entering. But the building had an odd attraction to him, the antiquity of the wood and the silence had always called to him when he was particularly annoyed or stressed and he had always found it empty for the most part.
Streak wasn't with him today, he was at home, and Lunus was meant to be in school. Which, technically, he was. He crept along a corridor of boxes and slipped onto a shorter one. He pulled out a book and began to read when a voice, much further away and closer to the stage than he was began to sing.
He listened quietly, his slow breathing being the only sound he made, and then eventually decided to creep closer to find out who was singing. The sounds became louder and louder as he approached and he stood in the back corner, where actors or performers would usually step off and on, and his eyes widened in recognition, it was the waitress from the other day. He scanned the room, thinking that her bird companion would be around somewhere, and sure enough found her fliing near the high celing.
Lunus smiled to himself and waited patiently, his ears ceoncentrating on every note which accompanied the stanzas Moon was performing, this was one of the few times he did not mind his silence being interrupted. When Moon would finish he'd probably make himself known to his new... friend? He wasn't actually sure.

words 347 tagged lunus music Hiro No Tsuki comments Committed to her practice session, Sun-Hi didn’t hear the heels of the boy’s shoes, as he descended neither the isle nor the door that had to be pushed open to indicate she was no longer alone. The girl kept on the way she had begun, smooth-toned notes hovering in careful euphoric harmony. It was only her voice filling the auditorium and its high ceilings augmented the volume and created a subtle delay in each spoken world as it resonated within the enclosed space. Taru never interrupted or attempted to join her human companion. The sparrow had discovered a perch on the overhanging lighting fixtures that, despite being dustier than sin, provided a perfect vantage point for the bird who spied the white-haired youth trouncing in on what must’ve been forbidden territory for one so young.
The avian sentry fluttered down, soundless save for the gentle brushing of her wings in descent, and flitted anxiously around the boy’s head until she had assured herself that he wasn’t going to swat at her, landing neatly on his left shoulder and puffing up her tawny chest. Taru clicked chattily at the boy, whether or not she knew the child couldn’t speak bird wasn’t clear but she was convinced that he was understand whatever message she was trying to relay and persistently clicked her beak for his attention as the last of Sun-Hi’s song came and went and left the room to its poignant silence. It was a second after which that the woman noticed Lunus and smiled welcomingly.
“Linus- I mean, Lunus!” her cheeks become a rosy shade as the flustered girl hopped down from the stage and bounced her way over to him. “Sorry, I didn't forget your name just really bad with them. I didn’t know you had activities at the school.” She beamed, withholding the urge to all but strangle him in one of her crushing hugs. “Taru, what are you doing over there?” she questioned the sparrow who chirped rapidly at being addressed but instead of traveling to her usual perch on the girl, she opted to try out the white fluffy mess that was Lunus’ nest of hair instead.

He smiled as the bird began to make a nest on his hair and when it finally got comfortable on it's new perch he took a step forward, "I don't have any classes here, or any reason to be here except it's quiet," he shurgged and sat on a coushioned chain nearby.
He looked at Sun-Hi to judge how she would react to him trespassing and then smiled, "That was beautiful," he was referring to the music, but then again their previous encounter had led him to believe she could see a flirty side in anything. He let it slide to test his theory and then grinned, "No Solei today? Or does she not come-" his question was interrupted by a small bang of a door being slammed and a teacher stomped down the stairs. Lunus was in the dog house now.
He shared a quick pleading glance at Moon before tunring to the teacher to answer her question, What are you doing here?! You aren't a student!,. Lunus opened his mouth before mumbling something about Sun-Hi needing an audience to practice to and then shrinking in the chair. This, as always, was a drawback to being shy, he could have said that easily and made it more convincing if he was mroe confident, he'd have to work on that.

I'm gonna break your heart and get away with murder you should've known from the start
words wasn't counting tagged Lunus music FF13 MIX comments n/a It was as the boy corrected her remark that Sun-Hi’s active imagination conjured an image of the boy, skulking around the college campus with Streak, sniffing out small and quiet niches to hide in. What she chose to omit was that the aforementioned trespasser had appeared much, much smaller in her mind’s eye and that he’d been riding his canine companion around like some wild jungle child. The brunette snorted, halfheartedly attempting to cover it with what could barely be passed off as a sneeze, into her too long sleeves. “Yep, totally you.” She smiled tightly, voice curt and dashed with restrained humor as she tried to keep from imagining the same pale student in front of her as a strange Caucasian version of Mougli from the Jungle Book. Raised with wolves indeed. "She's not in today but she goes here. I think she's at work right now. Ooooh, you came to see her didn't you! I can sympathize, older women are better." The boy would probably turn all shades of pink at the shameless teasing. She'd admit that she was having fun with these small harassing comments.
Fending off a bad case of the giggles proved easier to accomplish when she was abruptly made the subject, praise for her inopportune performance. She certainly hadn’t been expecting that from the soft-spoken boy and had she been every bit the sparrow Taru she’d have puffed up and ruffled her feathers, basking in the compliment. It wasn’t difficult to accomplish for a human actually, the woman beamed fiercely, hands on her hips and looking like she was posturing for a hero in a comic book the only missing elements being a flowing cape and skin-tight uniform. “Yes, yes I know, I’m awesome.” She crowed playfully, "It's song I'm singing for the spring concert, oh! You should come! Solei's coming - I'm pretty sure she is anyway, I can get you a ticket it you want!" there girl had spung a leak and all her excitement for the upcoming event poured out. So much so that she was able to forget the bundle of knots that her stomach had made themselves into but couldn't quite ignore the startling shouts from one of the instructors.
The auditorium suffered an immediate shift in ambiance. It’s once calm atmosphere askew with the arrival of the educator who could tell a non-student from another primarily because he was a nosy goose and just had such intolerance for the school’s lax policies that allowed such flagrant visitations.
Sun-Hi could see Lunus visibly deflate and moved closer to him, almost protectively before she turned to the obnoxiously loud, not to mention unwanted, guest. “Sir, he’s helping me with my performance! I’m the one who called him here since Mr. Brudelle told me to use whatever I needed to help me get ready for the concert!” she called back, never hinting to the annoyance that was scratching beneath the surface. “Besides, we have lots of students not from the school who attend clubs here so it’s not like seeing an unfamiliar face is unusual.” The pointed remark received a very contrite look for the interruption, nothing quite put someone older in their place when forced to remember specifics that made their victims look smart and they as the less intelligent of them.
’Oh, well…excuse me then. I didn’t meant to interrupt.’ the man coughed, reproached but attempting to salvage his imagine in any way possible. He closed the doors as he left and the silence returned though only lasting for a moment before Sun-Hi broke it again. “I’m so sorry bout that, he’s not all bad really. You’re welcome here any time; don’t let the growly people chase you off. Music majors just get really testy when new people are in their space.”

He was glad the teacher was now gone and though he should answer Moon's questions, "Firstly," he began with a small smile at the thought of him coming here to see Solei, "I didn't even know she was at this school, I just assumed because you two are such good friends. Secondly, Don't get too full of yourself, it wasn't perfect," he said this slightly jokingly but it had an underlying seriousness, he knew of plenty of people who get big ehaded and ended up failing, "Thirdly, I'd love to come to the concert, but I'll pay for my own ticket somehow, I don't want to impose. And, i think, lastly thanks for that, I didn't know what I'd do if i got kicked out of this place. This auditorium is one of the few places i can go to feel completely at ease."
He caught his breath, he had change a fair bit since meeting Sun and Solei, he was a little more open, but only to those two epople he thought. If anybody else had asked him those queestions or been as teasing as them he would have stammered or something. But now, after only meeting them one other time, he was used to them and knew, kind of, what to expect. Go figure.
He was still sitting and he didn't know what else to say now so he hummed a little until the awkwardness made him fidgetty, "So who else is performing?" he asked, wondering if they'd all be like Sun, or if he'd have to sit through some boring person showing the resurrection of christ through interpretive dance.

I'm gonna break your heart and get away with murder you should've known from the start
words 588 tagged Lunus music FF13 MIX comments n/a Lunus was definitely after her heart all his impossible cuteness toward the light repartee he received from both Solei and herself. It was so endearingly simple to get the kid, who seemed so closed off and isolated, to talk to them with fewer hang ups and she also felt like she was one of the closest things he had to a friend despite the short span of time that they were allowed to talk. Maybe it was that sort of familial surge of hers that refused to leave the younger alone or perhaps it was more a nurturing, motherly compulsion. Whatever it was there was strength in those unnamable feelings and they appeared to be wholeheartedly embraced by the Amicus recipient. Said recipient who was also not as soft-spoken as she’d been led to believe. Or maybe there was wilder in the boy than she’d given him credit.
In a matter of seconds the boy had not only recovered from the slight verbal bashing, but had also rebounded with some of his own – something that caught her off her guard. Sun-Hi was wide-eyed with surprise as he debunked her conscientious speculations and took her down a notch in the most amiable way possible. “Oh you’re so mean!” she cried, making a play off of unfelt indignation. The woman brought her hands, hidden in the lengthy sleeves of her blouse, to her mouth and looked at him as though she were watching the dog she’d been petting a moment ago morph into something fiercer. “You had me fooled with that cute face and shyness but you’re a wolf after all.” She batted back with a telling smile. The kind a person gets only when they’re making secret promises to avenge themselves.
“I’m so glad that you’ll come! Solei’s going to be ecstatic when she finds out!” her chiming was getting louder and with the volume came more animation from the speaker who decided she was going to be temporarily attached to Lunus right this second. Even though the boy was seated in one of those uncomfortable chairs that always seemed to be made for auditoriums like this, Sun-Hi bent at the waist, low enough to wrap her arms around the boy’s head and hug it. Taru was forced to move and let the them know how little she appreciated the spontaneity of Sun-He’s affection by flying dangerously close to their heads. "You’re just too cute Lunus! And don’t worry you wouldn’t be imposing! Concert participants get free tickets for their guests so its not like I have to pay for them. Come on! I thought everybody liked free stuff.” She glowed, burying the boy’s head in her shoulder and giving him a squeeze.
When she had decided she’d traumatized the high school boy enough she let go, took a seat beside him and motioned for Taru to do the same. The Sparrow looked crossly between the two from where she had stood on the back of a chair and didn’t move. “Um, good question. Not everything’s been finalized yet so we’re still waiting on the final word on it. They usually give it a few days before closing all applicant submissions to perform and then start figuring in who plays when and what. Don’t worry I’ll keep you posted. Oh wait,” she reached into one of the small pockets in her blouse and took out her phone. “Gimme your phone number so I can talk to you. Promise to keep it away from Solei or you’ll never sleep again.”

"I'm no wolf, just trying to keep you in line," he said, "But try not to get Solei too exceited aout it, it's equally likely I wont be able to sneak out, and Streak can't come either." he seemed slightly upset by this but he could probably do without a wolf who would bark at almost everything.
He was then smothered into Sun's shoulder and he turned a bright colour of red, this was probably the most intimate contact he'd had with a girl, and he was 16, not too great huh? But then again, someone who is four or five years older than him isn't too great either. Either way he huged Sun back slightly and then smiled, "Thanks for that," he said smiling, "It's not every day i get a hug,"
Then Sun asked for his phone number and he smiled, taking out his own mobile, which wasn't a great model itself, and pulled up his number before reeling them off for sun to punch in, "Please make sure Solei doesn't get it," he said with a disparing look, if what Sun said was true he'd most likely pass out after the first few days and might have to change his number, somehting he didn't plan on doing.
"So," he said, thinking of something else to say, "Do you want to give me the official tour? I've only been to this part of the building really, there isn't much need for me to go anywhere else." he shrugged but stayed in his seat so he didn't put Sun under pressure to say yes, that'd just be too weird for him.

words 412 tagged Lunus music Krwling - Linkin Park comments n/a Plopping into the chair beside the newest addition to her contact list Sun-Hi brightly gave Lunus her full attention, fingers absently undoing imaginary coils in her hair.
She felt a twinge of something depressing inching along his statement. Perhaps she was reading too much into the situation – she was liable to worry about everyone over the tiniest thing so it wasn’t impossible. But it felt like the young man didn’t receive a lot of tender loving care in his life, though she couldn’t base her inklings on his reaction for the kid might’ve turned the same shade had she done as little as hold his hand or checked his pulse. Sun-Hi’s musings weren’t blatantly obvious but the hindering of the woman’s gloomy assumptions stole energy from her otherwise abundant liveliness.
“Then I’ll be sure to hug you every time I see you.” She declared with a wiggling of her brows and an rascally smile smoothing out her lips as she leaned into his seat just enough so that their conversation was kept to themselves. Not that she was worried about eavesdroppers, they weren’t talking about illicit activity but she might be in a minute.
“I think there might be a way to get Streak in, Stockton is amazingly accommodating to us Amicus who have animal companions. The Principal’s aware of the issues we face and has tried to make the school as Shifter friendly as possible. Granted, Streak will have to be on his best behavior and can’t go chasing people around the concert hall or makin’ a ruckus.” She explained. She couldn’t help but think in the back of her mind that Streak and best behavior were two concepts rarely put together. “It’s why me and Taru can be here together.” She brightened and having heard her name the sparrow began to chirp loudly, ruffling up her feathers. Apparently thinking she was being announced or something.
Never wandered the grounds was a little hard to believe. Sun-Hi got lost every few weeks because the campus was just that huge. Or maybe her memory was just that terrible and her sense of direction just as bad. She should have gotten a migratory bird if she didn’t want to be directionally challenged. Smiling luminously, “Alright, tour the school it is. Mind you if we get lost I’m not to blame.” She alerted with a nervous giggle, jumping up from her seat and jogging back toward the stage to gather her things. “Any ideas where you’d wanna start or should we wing it?”

"Winging it sounds cool," he said, "And we won't get lost, im sure theres some students who will answer me f i look like a lost and distressed new student, not that i can act well." he shrugged and stood up, hands in his pockets, waiting for Sun to take leave first, he would just et lost and seem rude.
